Attorney Delali A. Dagadu is a dedicated and experienced advocate for clients navigating immigration and estate planning legal matters. She brings a deep understanding of the law and a passionate commitment to securing justice, whether guiding clients through the complex U.S. immigration system or helping families protect their futures through thoughtful estate planning.
Delali graduated from Indiana University–Bloomington in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and minors in Psychology and French. She earned her Juris Doctor,
cum laude, from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law.
Attorney Dagadu has successfully represented clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and in U.S. Immigration Court, including individuals and families seeking asylum,
lawful permanent residency, naturalization, and other forms of immigration relief. She has also successfully defended clients in removal proceedings and represented children seeking protection through Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) before the D.C. Superior Court.
In her estate planning practice, Delali helps immigrant families, foreign nationals, and their U.S. citizen loved ones develop customized estate plans that reflect their personal values and transnational needs. Her services include wills, revocable living trusts, powers of attorney, advance medical directives, and probate administration in both Washington, D.C. and Maryland.
Born in Monrovia, Liberia, and raised across five countries, including the United State, Delali brings a rich global perspective to her legal practice. Her multicultural background, as a West African American, enables her to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and approach each case with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a deep understanding of cross-border legal issues. Delali is committed to providing every client with experienced, high-quality, and client-centered representation.
Attorney Dagadu is a proud member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the District of Columbia Bar, the Maryland State Bar, and the American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland and is authorized to represent clients in immigration matters nationwide under 8 U.S.C. § 1292.1.
