Investing in the U.S. Economy
EB-5 Investors
Investing in the United States economy is another way to immigrate to the U.S. as a lawful permanent resident.

Immigrant investors who invest in the U.S. economy, by making capital investment in U.S. businesses and creating or preserving U.S. jobs, can apply for the EB-5 Visa to immigrate to the U.S. with their family (spouses and unmarried children under the age of 21) as a lawful permanent resident.

Investment may take the form of cash, equipment, or idea, as long as the investor can show s/he is the rightful owner of the assets being invested in the United States.

Entrepreneur
An entrepreneur is an individual who sets up a business.
Opening a business in the United States that employs at least ten people is another avenue for applying for an immigrant status.
